Elf Get the Look set

Imagine how difficult it would be for a person with no talent (at all =P)
in color coordination to mix and match different eyeshadow. In reality, a
person should have basic knowledge of the color wheel to determine which
hue matches. What if you're really clueless and happen to be at the mall
and wants to try out and buy makeups? A little help from the sales
attendant would be of great help and best option to do, but it is very time
consuming. Another factor is the price of the product. Since you're at
lost, tendency is for you to buy tons and tons of makeups which will later
on ends up unused, dusty and expired in you drawer because you never get to
consume them. So if you don't have the luxury of time to roam around the
cosmetics section to ask what color matches your skintone and eye color
or what brand will best suit your budget, you could try the GET THE LOOK
makeup set by ELF cosmetics.

I consider this set the best kit to use for people starting to learn how to
put on makeup and also for those that doesn't want to be intoxicated with
the task of matching colors. Everything that you need to achieve for a
specific look is included in the kit. From eye shadows, liners, mascaras
and even false eyelashes. You have the option to go for natural look to
smokey eyes sexy look. The best part of it? It's very light on your purse!
One set here ranges from P350 – P500. Not bad for a complete makeup set
right? =)

As of now here's a picture of the available kits in local department
stores:
As for my experience, I've tried the dramatic look and basic browns set.
I love them both, but I use the Basic Brown set more because its suitable
for daily wear =)
I do hope that ELF cosmetics continues to produce affordable and quality
makeup and that they keep on coming up with new brilliant ideas.

Look of the Day: Miley Cyrus Cant be Tamed inspired makeup

I went home from work feeling really stressed and pissed off. As soon as I hit the net, I tried looking for some nice music I can download and listen to. After hours of looking I was able to download Eminem, Kings of Leons, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus. They're all good... But what catched my attention most was Miley's Cant be tamed song. It felt like it matched my emotions. Angry, rebellious and daring. Then it came to me, how does she look in her mtv? I immediately checked it out in youtube... God I was in love with everything!!!!!! From the concept, to the costumes and of course....the MAKEUP....I just love it!!!!! As soon as I finished watching the music video I tried copying her look.... So far this is what I came up with.....

Too bad I dont have any false eyelashes with me....The look would have been somehow comeplete...... :P

Look of the day: Daily wearable look using earth colors

Got busy with lots of things that's why I wasnt able to have my look of the day entry for several weeks now. Good thing my schedule is a bit lighter now =)

This is almost my daily makeup in the office.

Here's a closer look on my eye

Whenever I'm in a lazy mode to think of combining colors in my face, my safest bet is earth color. I tried using 2 different shades of lipstick and I'm amazed how a small detail can change the entire look.

Here's my daily look with pink lipstick. I liked how this made me look too feminine....It seems I'm such a sweet girl...hehehehe............Maybe thats why my husband loves this one so much.

According to a friend he likes this one more cause it gives more color to my face.

For me, I like both....Its just a matter of selecting when and where to use these looks. =)

Trip to Tali Beach: Visit Mama's Rest House

My babies got up early today! Maybe because they know that we'll be having a short trip to mama Yoly's resort house in Tali beach. We'll be seeing the progress of the house's construction. It's almost a year now when it started construction. I can say that Im happy with the outcome to think that few finishing still needs to be done. Garden is yet to be landscaped. Lucky for us our neighbor's landscaper was just around the corner and we got to talk with her about our ideas for the garden. Hopefully she'll come up with a nice proposal. =)

For now here are some few pictures of the house.
Here's the front view of the house. I like the color combination that Ate Michelle chose. Those painted in red gave accent (life) to the whole look of the house. There's still a slight problem with the gate that the workers need to re-do. It doesnt open up totally =( Good thing fixing it will be just easy. (as I heard :P )
Upon entering the main door, you will see the indoor garden and the beautiful customized chandelier. I love those mirrors. It can make me see my reflection in different angle...hehehehe
This is the kitchen and dining area. No dining set yet. Not until everything's finished.

Now here's my favorite part of the house. The kitchen! I just love what they did with the range! (too bad i was not able to take a picture of it as you can see we bought tons of food with us hehehe)

This is how all the stairs looks like. The house has a total of 3 floors.

I was only able to shot the masters bedroom. Why? Because one little detail surprised me. And if I have the same space in my house in Cavite, I'd definitely copy it. From this picture below, it's just a typical room with closet.
But here's the surprise! One closet door is actually the entrance to the hidden toilet! I sooo love it!!!!
well for now these are all I got. Hope to post pics soon. And for sure next batch are the final snapshots of the house =)

Physicians Formula Mineral Makeup

Yeah I know this is not really a makeup haul entry coz im not the one who bought this :P

My mother-in-law just arrived recently from her trip to US to attend her youngest daughter's wedding. It was a blast as they told me! Wish my hubby and I could be there too.... =(

Anyways, got these products as my pasalubong.. They know very well how i like makeups....Thanks mama..... =)

This is the first time I actually came across this brand "Physicians Formula". Well just from its

name I think their products cater those sensitive skin types. Here's what I found in their site...

"Only from Physicians Formula can you find the latest, innovative products made especially for sensitive skin. As the experts in bringing color correction to the masses (a concept previously used only by makeup artists), Physicians Formula continues to introduce unique and easy-to-use products that will help you hide those nasty imperfections and uncover a more beautiful-looking complexion. You can also look to Physicians Formula to introduce the latest department store concepts but without the department store price tag!

But this isn’t done at just any cost. From its inception in 1937, Physicians Formula remains steadfast in its pledge to create and manufacture high-quality, hypoallergenic cosmetic and skin care products. It is committed to creating innovative products that meet your specific needs while meeting the more rigorous standards of the cosmetic industry. In fact, many Physicians Formula products are so gentle that they are recommended by allergists, dermatologists and plastic surgeons.

The term hypoallergenic is more than just a cosmetic claim for Physicians Formula. It is the basis for every product that is created. Physicians Formula honors this claim through stringent product testing and quality control. In fact, Physicians Formula products are formulated without over 100 known irritating ingredients still found in many cosmetics on the market today.

However, this doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice fashion for your face. Although every Physicians Formula product is made with all the seriousness needed to produce gentle formulas, it is also created with all the fun and glamour that makes cosmetics the pleasure of women everywhere!"

Now this is a real savior for girls with problems in makeups. As they said no need to sacrifice fashion with Physicians Formula makeups.

I almost forgot, these are my new mineral makeup... Have to try them out in a while...... =)
